My name is Chris Sligh. As an artist I'm award-winning, critically acclaimed & mildly-to-not popular; I wrote a number 1 song (Here Comes Goodbye) for Rascal Flatts. I'm married to Sarah and I'm deeply in love. Most importantly, I am a Christ-follower.

I just saw that on myspace! Needs more purple.
Cool! Purple?
It will be fun to read your take on this year's contestants.
Haha, I just like purple and there is a lack thereof, wherein Blake's CD was purple overload. Therefore if there is ever a Sligh/Blake duet CD, I expect a decent medium of purple and awesome.
.... I really don't know what I'm talking about.
I love it...Like Risa, it will be really cool to read your take on this years contestants. Wow..it's all really coming together for you. It's awesome. I am so happy for you.
The color balance is better with a little more detail, not as pale as previously.
Love it!!!
Someone over at Entertainment Weekly is smart to have sought you out for a bi-weekly blog. Can't wait!
Cool beans! Is that the one that JP Lewis and that girl who sounds like Fran Drescher wrote for last year? Those are fun reads, unlike the AI boards, where crazy-stupid-mean people spew their animosity. I don't check the boards anymore, I just look for decent reviews. You can be sure I'll catch yours!
This is kinda disgusting but if any of you don't eat meat or are practicing Lent, be wary of Doritos because a lot of them have something called porcine in them which is a pork enzyme -- like the plain CHEESE ones. Others have meat in them but also aren't so outright in saying so. Reading the ingredients on the backs of packages has gotten me crazy lately.
Brenda, I remember a blog with Jon Peter Lewis and the girl you are talking about is Mikalah.
I agree with GDA about the picture looking better on the cover.
I've never really cared to read most past idol's blogs of the current seasons but that's because none of my favorites have ever done it.. so I'll definitely check that out.

check that band out!!!!!!!!!
I'm really going to sleep now/shortly. I'm going to see the car from Transformers tomorrow (the one that was Bumblebee) and I am insanely excited because I love that movie. :D
Looking forward to reading your EW blogs!
Love the album cover.
Looking forward to both the album and the EW blogs! What is the date for the album, and will it be at Family Christian Stores? (Sorry to ask... I'm sure it's come up a lot, but I haven't felt like being online much, what with colds and flu passing around my house.)
I liked Jon Peter Lewis. I'm off to google and see what he's been up to.
Love, love, love it!
Writing for EW, ok, so now you're just showing off!
DJ
Now THERE's an album cover--so much better than poor Blake's. Simple, straightforward. It says "from me to you"--bravo! Congrats on the EW commenting; I remember enjoying Ace's comments and getting annoyed by Kimberly Locke's snarkiness. You'll bring your good-natured humor. If you can acknowledge effort without "going Paula" (seriously, it's hard to go Paula unless you're Paula) and avoid laughing AT people or getting too serious about this reality show, you'll be great.
Seriously, the hair is looking very nice on the cover. Bravo to whoever was in charge of that. I mean, I have ridiculously curly hair too, and getting lack of frizz is definitely a challenge. Bravo.
Looking forward to the album. =)
