Happy Birthday Paul

I meant to do this "Yesterday", but I forgot, so I'll just "Let It Be".

Happy one day belated 66th, Sir Paul McCartney.

You have influenced me as much as any other person if not more as a musician.

I think that you are a genius and 100 million people who bought your records can't be wrong.

Plus, I can't be wrong.

Thanks for all you've done for music.

That was too cute...
So yes, Happy Belated birthday to Sir Paul McCartney. I wonder what he thinks when he hears "When I'm 64" now.

Hey Chris -
NO FANTARDING!! (LOL)

It's okay if you're a day late for him. You were one day late for my birthday, too! (some comparison - lol)
Just don't do it to Carrie on the 23rd!

I just watched Across the Universe (finally!) - and it was definitely one of the more moving films I've seen in a long while.

Fantastic. So much of Paul's music, too!

Aww, Rosalee. <3

CHRIS, NO WAY! I was JUST about to watch that movie tonight because I haven't seen it yet. I was on the fence for awhile... So I take it that it's worth watching?

I remember when xangelglitterx first mentioned that movie last year. I haven't seen it yet either.

Here are some clips:

I am not overwhelmed by these previews, but maybe one of these days I'll watch the whole thing.

The movies in the 1970's using the Beatles' music were said to be pretty bad. I never saw them either:

I SO wanted to see Across The Universe when it was in theaters to get that whole theater experience, you know? I guess I missed out, unless they bring it back for some kind of anniversary type thing someday...there are a couple of theaters around here that show things that have gone on to dvd, maybe they will have it back...

Oh my how time flies - it seems like just yesterday I was a silly teenage girl swooning over "Paul" from the Beatles.

I bought the dvd Across The Universe a while back and have not even opened it up yet. Now I'll watch it this week-end.

haha WOW! This post is too funny! Not many people would wish Paul McCartney a happy birthday on their blog :P
Okay, call me young, but how many of the Beatles are still alive? 2?

"...call me young, but how many of the Beatles are still alive?..."

How uncharitable and morbid?

Brian Wilson is 66? Okay..Now I do feel old. Being born and raised in Southern California, the Beach Boys were a staple at my house. Loved them then, love them now...Loved the Beatles more but I am a "California Girl" and always will be....

Can you guys believe how close the picnic is?! To be honest, I didn't think I'd be able to go. We're having money troubles and my going really is by the grace of God because I still don't know how I pulled it off. I hope it's okay that I ended up passing on a Fro Patro shirt mainly because I had to budget my money the best I could -- I still have to pick up some BBQ sauce! Haha. Oh and I'm bringing my camera, Nikon D40. :D

It wouldn't be the same without you Carrie, glad you worked it out!

"I Will" expect "No Reply" "Because" "I'm a Loser"

"The End"
