Spring Tour

We're putting together our Spring Tour and would love your help. We have quite a few dates coming together right now, but are trying to fill out a tour and want to go where the fans are, not just where we have gone before.

So, here's the deal....

The Spring Tour is going to be a virtual smorgasbord of what I think is cool music.

Opening up the show will be my good friend Andrew Witt.

Then (if everything gets taken care of contract-wise - I'm about 95% sure he'll be coming out) will be one of my favorite new artists, Danyew. This guy's music is incredible. And I've heard his live show will blow you away.

Following him will be a new band called Satellites & Sirens. Cool synthy pop/rock. Great guys.

Then we have a comedian called Brother Preacher. Look him up on YouTube. Hilarious.

Then I will close out the night.

Sound like a fun tour? Does to me...

So, here's how we need your help:

In the comments section below, leave me your hometown (where you live, not where you were born...lol), the church that you go to and a list of a couple of other churches in your area that are known for doing shows. We want to come to you. So help us do that with just a little information.

Oh yeah! Would LOVE to have you and your entourage come to little ole me! Sounds like a great lineup. Danyew was here not too long ago but I didn't get to see him. :o( Would love a second chance.

Phoenix, AZ
I got to: Calvary Community Church
www.calvaryphx.com

Bit of a mega-church though not really one for paid concerts. We do mini-concerts on Sunday night as part of regular evening service. The artist gets to sell merch at all 4 services of the weekend. SO...someday when you are in the area alone, it would be ideal for an acoustic set.

Nearby churches that DO have concerts: North Hills Church in NW Phx

Community Church of Joy
Glendale, AZ

Christ Church of the Valley
Peoria, AZ

Radiant Church
Surprise, AZ

San Diego of course. I don't belong to a church, but I know the Rock Church in San Diego does a lot of concerts and has kind of a young congregation. That would be awesome. I actually work with someone who goes to that church and I can ask him who to talk to.

Sounds like an awesome concert.

Quad Cities! We just moved to Bettendorf, IA from Minnesota. We haven't decided upon a church yet, but Harvest Bible Chapel is a large one here...Bettendorf Christian Church looks like a large church as well.

Would love a show in my area.

VCC@NewWilmington, PA
but VCC@Coitsville, OH
is the bigger campus

We're about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh. Be nice not to have to drive that far to see a good show.

Come back to Myrtle Beach...Beach Church (www.beachchurch.org) or Ground Zero.

By the way, it's great to see a fellow NGU alumni being successful and obedient to Christ's calling.
Go Mounties (the REAL NGU mascot)!

Please come back to Kingsway in Avon, Indiana!!! :) You said you had less turn-out at that show last time, so I feared you wouldn't come back :( - but don't let that keep you from coming back. I'm thinking Indy was just having an off night :).

I attend Lakeview Church, which is the largest nondenominational church in Indianapolis (so I've been told). However, they seem to not do too many shows. Kingsway does though :).

Now for the Indy chant - IN-DY! IN-DY! IN-DY!

& maybe you'll run into Peyton?? :)

I don't know if any of the Blogger Girls have thought about it, but it was EXACTLY one year ago tonight that Chris and the boys came to NLR to do a fundraising concert for the Junior League of North Little Rock's signature project, Heaven's Loft. (we help provide baby supplies/clothing to low income families of young children). It was an awesome evening and Chris is coming back here on April 18th. Would love to have any of you in the area join us! (or any of you out of the area, as well! LOL)

You definitely need to bring Chris and company to your town.

For newbies here, here's a few links to songs he did for us one year ago:

You gotta come to the Los Angeles area! Great church you should check into .... Christian Assembly in Eagle Rock, CA. You may even know of our worship leader, Tommy Walker? He writes a lot of worship music and has put out a number of albums. Anyway, I think it would be fabulous to see you wherever you end up doing a concert in So Cal. :)

We had a rare concert at the local christian church near here last year-- it was neat for the young folks.(I would've liked to have gone, but I didn't want to horn in!)It was a double-billing, and that honestly seemed like more than enough for the younger ones to focus on.

I wish there was more of that around here. There certainly are enough big churches in the stateline area. (Seems like destinations for KY are always Louisville, and I'm not going that far.)

I hear a big name guy from AL is coming to the Youth Group like next week. You prolly know him, but I was all "???" Clearly, I am out of the loop! heh.

Meanwhile, Spouse and I are kind of excited about Carole King and James Taylor coming to do a show in the round in Nashville. We might actually rally up the resources for that one! :-)

I live in Middle River, MD (BALTIMORE). I go to Community Christian Church in White Marsh, MD. Mountain Christian Church in Fallston is known for doing concerts. Would love to see you live again!

I will second with LEIGH, the Triad area (Greensboro, High Point and Winston Salem) would be great!!

WBFJ radio station would be the first place I would suggest calling / they will know who books the groups in the area and probably can give you names and numbers.

With a good sized local Christian Radio station in the area, if you are working with them, lots of good publicity!!!

I go to Immanuel in Macomb, Michigan. We have done big shows, we had Tenth Avenue North last summer. http://immlutheran.org/

I really don't know of any local churches known for concerts, but there is a nice local concert venue which attracts both big and small acts. Amy Grant will be there in a few days. http://www.macombcenter.com/

Here's another CO person-Colorado Springs. The church I like to go to doesn't do shows, but here are some places I do know have shows:
Calvary Rock Church
Woodman Valley Chapel
New Life Church
Village Seven Presbyterian Church

Andrew Witt might also know of some places since he is from CO The places I listed are all in the Colo. springs area.

Awesome idea Chris! I've been waiting for you to make a tour stop here in Massachusetts. Hopefully it happens this time around! I go to House of Prayer Lutheran church in Hingham, MA. They occasionally do shows but I'm not sure if it would be suitable for you. If you want to contact House of Prayer, here is their website: https://hophingham.ctsmemberconnect.net/webpage-info.do?webPageId=240071&view=0&grpId=23490

Unfortunately, I don't know of any other churches in my area that regularly have shows. If you can book a show someplace in eastern Mass I'd be there!

Grace church in Eden Prairie is a good one for concerts, but check out Club 3 degrees in Minneapolis.

I forgot to mention that since you were in Indy last, the KLOVE morning show with Lisa and Eric relocated here to Indy (actually to Brownsburg, right near Kingsway where you played last March!) So that means Indy is way cooler now ... and deserves to have you back. Maybe Lisa and Eric would come out??

I don't attend church but would come see you in the Dallas TX area. K-LOVE plays your music all the time so I listen just to hear you - love Vessel.

I honestly don't know any churches here that have shows which makes me sad because I would really like for you to come to Buffalo or at least in Western New York, close enough that I can talk my boyfriend into going with me to a show. His mom sings with a church choir a lot so I can always ask her. :)

I live in the ATL and go to Perimeter, where Aaron Schust used to lead worship, and where Laura Story does lead worship. Surely Aaron can give you the hook up... not sure how open Perimeter is to paid concerts, but it's worth asking!

Come to St. Louis, MO!!!! My parents are actually starting a new church/music venue called The Merge... maybe we could partner up with you! Our website is www.themergestl.com

If not, some other local churches that have Christian concerts sometimes are Florissant Christian Church, Harvester Christian Church, and Grace Church.

I'd love to finally get to see you in concert!!!
