Jiminy Cricket, I wish you'd quit deleting all the comments when you take down a blog. LOL I just had a message on facebook from someone I don't know who won tickets and came to the concert not knowing about your music. They loved it and you have new fans, and we have new supporters of Heaven's Loft. Win, win!

Pics of NLR concert:

And when I said I was speechless before? I know I got your hopes up, but oh, well......LOL Once again, this is an absolutely amazing piece of music. I get goosebumps and teary eyed at the same time. OK, off to watch Fox...your interview is supposed to be on the local Fox station either tonight or tomorrow in conjunction with the AI show.

Not that everyone hasn't already heard me say this,(disappearing comments what can you do but repost?) but RF is smart to recognize this song is going to be a big hit for them.

I hope you record it one day because I like your version better, you and the piano, all that is needed.

Nuff said.

Oh and Risa speechless? Like that's gonna happen:)

This song is really beautiful. Rascal Flatts really did it justice.
I also really love the way you sing it with just the piano. Your voice is way better, especially on the high notes. You really need to make it a hidden track on your next CD...
Absolutely beautiful...

Rosalee,

Thanks so much for posting the article on Chris that Christian Living Magazine did, somehow I missed this with all my excitement over the Little Rock concert (imagine that). It's a really good interview and article.

I don't know what we would do without you keeping us in the know of all things Sligh!

CONGRATS, Chris!

This is wonderful news. I heard the song on YouTube the other day, & it sounds fab. Loved that several commenters were making sure they gave credit to you & Rascal.

Just heard the song at MJ's. Fantastic! You've got a hit on your hands!

It sounds like they followed Chris' demo very closely, except the vocal has more twang to it.

Wow-- I agree with the poster who said, Make room for a Grammy. Really awesome, Chris! :-D

I heard the song on the website. I have NOT heard it on the radio yet but I have heard at least two country stations here in Wichita mention the song and that it is the new release from Rascal Flatts so I have the MP3 player glued in my ears and the radio in the car is playing nothing but country radio. So maybe I am just missing it....

Yeah GDA, where have you been?
Welcome back....

Chris~do you know when we might be able to get the single on I-Tunes?

Chris, I'm so proud of you! Amazing song, but you write amazing songs every minute. It's no surprise to me that RF snatched it up. I miss you and Sarah!
