Well, "Empty Me" is once again the #1 added song at Christian AC radio (monitored), this time on a very slow add week. So, that is exciting.
I have found that many of the radio programmers check out the blog, so...thanks guys for the add!
According to mediabase we're at #44 on the Christian AC charts, up from #105...with only 1 and a half weeks out, that's pretty good. We already have several adds coming for next week, so it is looking great!

Super news, Chris! Do you anticipate that any of your 'debut' songs will get airplay on mainstream radio? are there any efforts in that direction? are you considering branching out to mainstream with a future recording? can I come up with any more questions??? (answer: yes!)

We send an email blast out once a week to our Junior League members, and I talked the office manager into putting a blurb about downloading "Empty Me" from iTunes and about the picnic. Chris, do you know if yes.com has any relevance in how many more plays you're getting? Because I keep that site open in the background and it refreshes when another play comes up and yes it, but I'm wondering if it's actually doing anything....
WDCX isn't playing you yet that I'm aware of, so I hope they do soon.

Oh, Rosalee, one more thing that some of you might find funny. About like 5 times now, I tried going to rosalee.info instead of chris-sligh.info. I keep thinking it's all the same thing haha. And YES, that is a compliment!
I'm going to a hockey game tonight (woohoo!) so all of you frequent yes.com'ers have to keep it going while I'm out. I'm also missing Idol but thank goodness for tivo. (I'm inkedstars on yes.com, by the way if it wasn't obvious.)
Carrie, I'll see what I can do on yes.com while you're away. I'm supposed to go to church and choir soon, but may not because I haven't been feeling well today. It seems like you, chrosina (whom I chatted with for a moment yesterday... lurks here but does not post... hi, chrosina!) and I all keep yes.com in the background for long stretches. The 10 plays that nobody voted on this morning were all in the wee hours. I hope to see more plays soon during the hours when more people can listen!

I saw you on Extra tonight but it was really short. They showed a clip of you performing "She's Not There" & then said it's not all bad, former Idol Chris Sligh is signed etc.. and then showed you for about 15 seconds talking about the album.
Lori-Amelia is 2 weeks old already! She had her first checkup at the ped today and everything is great. She's gained 11 oz from her last hospital check weight and 3/4 of an inch in height.
!!!!!!!!!!!I FINALLY just heard Empty Me on my local station!!!!!!!!! Up until now I kept missing it!
